Job Summary
Commissioning Manager role leading the end-to-end commissioning of critical data-centre IT infrastructure and systems. Responsibilities include authoring and reviewing commissioning documentation, drafting commissioning plans/programmes, leading commissioning workshops and tests (Level 2–5), site observations and reports, and coordinating with project teams to ensure timely handover. Requires strong leadership, planning, and stakeholder-management skills in a multi-country EU environment; qualifications include trade apprenticeship or equivalent, CSCS/Safe Pass/ECS/SMSTS, and optional HNC/BEng credentials. The position emphasizes managing on/off-site services, directing Project Managers, Supervisors, and subcontractors, with emphasis on documentation, testing, and final reporting across construction, acceptance, and handover phases.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of trade apprenticeship or qualifications — Essential
- CSCS / Safe Pass / ECS / SMSTS holder — Essential
- BEng (Hons) in an engineering discipline or equivalent — Desirable
- HNC — Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services - Desirable
- Prince 2 or equivalent – Desirable
