Job Summary
Lead commissioning activities for complex projects, developing commissioning plans, checklists, and tests for mechanical, electrical, fire protection, and life-safety systems. Perform technical reviews, provide recommendations, conduct field inspections and tests (including NETA and SCADA), draft issue resolutions and reports, and train cross-discipline teams. Collaborate with scope teams and project managers to verify scope intent, manage commissioning schedules, and oversee turnover and documentation. Requires strong communication, QA/QC understanding, and ability to travel up to 100% to project sites. Proficiency with commissioning processes and building systems knowledge in at least one discipline (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing/piping, instrumentation, or controls) is expected, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and BIM360; travel up to 100% is anticipated.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or 10 years of equivalent field experience
