Job Summary
Oversee the safe, timely, and efficient design, installation, and commissioning of critical systems and IT infrastructure within data centre environments. Author and review Owner's Project Requirements, draft Commissioning Plans, and lead kick-off meetings to align stakeholders. Conduct Level 2 through Level 5 commissioning workshops, witness factory and field tests, and develop checklists for electrical, mechanical, and safety systems. Manage weekly client meetings, update the Commissioning Tracker, and coordinate Level 5 testing and Pre-Integrated Systems Testing. Deliver final commissioning reports, validate O&M procedures, and lead lessons-learnt workshops to ensure successful project handover. Provide direction to Project Managers, Supervisors, and sub-contractors on and off-site.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of trade apprenticeship or qualifications
- CSCS / Safe Pass / ECS / SMSTS holder
- HNC – Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services
Desired Qualifications
- Prince 2 or equivalent
- BEng (Hons) in an engineering discipline or equivalent
