Job Summary
Develop comprehensive commissioning plans for wastewater treatment facilities, including identifying systems, establishing objectives, and defining activity sequences. Coordinate pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities while conducting thorough inspections and tests to verify installation and functionality. Resolve issues discovered during the process and prepare detailed reports with test results and performance data. Manage commissioning budgets and schedules to ensure timely, cost-effective completion while ensuring compliance with regulations and safety protocols. Provide technical guidance to project teams and maintain strong relationships with clients and contractors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering preferred)
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in commissioning wastewater treatment plants and related infrastructure
- Proven track record as a Commissioning Manager or similar role in the wastewater industry
- Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, equipment, and technologies
- Extensive experience in project management, including budget and schedule control
- Proficiency in commissioning methodologies, tools, and best practices
- Excellent understanding of relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
- Willingness to travel and work on-site as required
