Job Summary
Lead site CSA commissioning activities by managing risks with the General Contractor, reviewing commissioning plans against specifications and local codes, and executing verification checklists and test procedures. Ensure documentation is maintained in the completions database while monitoring quality assurance initiatives for installation, assembly, and alignment. Represent the client during design reviews, attend commissioning meetings to resolve issues, and support field execution through job walks and site observations. Report to the client Operations team weekly and adhere to EHS guidelines and site safety requirements. This safety-sensitive role involves full-time on-site work for a client near Santa Clara, California, within the semiconductor and data center sectors.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in leading CSA construction and commissioning operations
- Bachelor's Degree in a related subject from an accredited university
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills with the ability to understand complex problems and distil the message into a clear plan
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound judgments under pressure
- Strong background in all aspects of CSA requirements
- Demonstrated ability to read P&IDs, isometrics, and Civil/Structural/Architectural plans
- Thorough knowledge of local building regulations and code
- expert knowledge of earthwork, foundations, concrete, rebar, embeds, structural steel, and architectural interfaces
- 10+ years of professional engineering experience in CSA engineering with commissioning experience
- Semiconductor/Datacenter or advanced technology industry experience is preferred but not essential
