Job Summary
Commissioning engineer role supporting wastewater projects across Thames Water frameworks; responsibilities include commissioning documentation, liaising with suppliers and facilitating contractor commissioning, and assisting the project team with completions. Working within a team of mechanical, EICA and commissioning engineers to develop best practice, promote health & safety, and deliver value for money. Key tasks include analysing data to identify problems and provide process/control expertise for delivery teams within the UU framework. Required experience includes installation and wastewater commissioning, cradle-to-grave planning, risk assessments/method statements, and a full UK driving licence. Alongside training and progression opportunities, the role emphasizes delivering project improvements across wastewater facilities such as inlet works, screens, grit separation, chemical dosing, dewatering and secondary treatment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience of installation & wastewater commissioning in the utility sector
- Experience with planning the commissioning process cradle to grave
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to produce/review third party Risk Assessments & Method Statements
- Ability to demonstrate evidence of design improvements of process related equipment and plant
