Job Summary
Conduct commissioning activities to ensure electrical systems meet project requirements, safety standards, and industry codes. Maintain QC/QA/CX documentation, including inspection records, NCRs, and pre-energization checklists. Track quality activities and testing progress in CX Alloy, review NETA reports, and upload results to confirm tester completion. Monitor open issues, prepare daily and weekly quality reports, and support scheduling of technicians and external testers. Communicate quality control requirements to internal teams, vendors, and subcontractors. Ensure proper labeling, document control, and version management for all project quality files. Provide administrative support for inspections and assist with training coordination for QC/QA/CX staff and construction teams.
Required Qualifications
- NETA certification or direct experience managing/reviewing NETA test reports
- Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud Build, Egnyte, or other commissioning/document control platforms
- Previous internship, co-op, or project engineering experience in commissioning or electrical construction
- Must be able to work in extreme indoor and outdoor environmental conditions (heat, cold, rain, sleet, snow)
- Must be able to use construction-site sanitary facilities (e.g., portable toilets)
- Must wear required personal protective equipment at all times on site (helmet, safety glasses, boots, and gloves at all times; respirator when required)
- Must be able to safely climb and work from ladders and stairs
- Must be able to safely operate typical jobsite equipment to access work areas (scissor lift, boom lift)
- Must be able to crawl, stand, stoop, bend, crouch, kneel, sit, reach, and routinely lift, push, and pull objects up to 50 pounds
- Ability to travel between job sites and work extended or off-shift hours as project needs require
