Job Summary
Commissioning engineer responsible for commissioning, start-up, troubleshooting, and servicing of cheese-processing equipment and full production lines at customer sites worldwide. Roles include FAT/delivery testing, software testing support, and fine-tuning automation and control systems; on-site customer liaison, technical training, and ensuring safety, quality, and project delivery. Requires hands-on automation, mechanical/electrical skills, and the ability to operate in a global, travel-intensive environment; preferred locations Heerenveen (Netherlands) or Olsztyn (Poland).
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree and technical background in Automation, Mechanical Engineering, Food Engineering, or similar
- Strong hands-on experience with industrial commissioning, start-up, or field service
- Knowledge of process automation systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Rockwell or Schneider etc.)
- Experience in dairy or cheese processing is a strong advantage
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- A valid driving license
- A proactive and independent professional with ownership, problem-solving, and strong communication skills
