Job Summary
Conduct regular patrols and maintain constant vigilance of the premises to ensure the safety of clients, staff, and visitors. Respond to emergencies quickly and professionally, escalating to local law enforcement as necessary, while utilizing security equipment to maintain law and order. Prepare incident reports following investigations and coordinate with clients, staff, visitors, and local law enforcement agencies. Maintain a visible presence to deter unlawful actions and comply with all legal and organizational regulations regarding unarmed security. Requires a valid Texas armed security officer license, minimum two years of experience, and CPR/First Aid certification.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Texas armed security officer license
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a security officer, preferably in an educational environment
- Trained and certified in CPR and First Aid
- Ability to make quick decisions in high-stress situations
- High school diploma or GED
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to pass a thorough background check and drug test
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods
