Job Summary
Develop customer relationships with Stop & Shop store management in the South Dennis, MA territory by making sales, placing orders, and coordinating lead times. Stock assigned merchandise, maintain displays, and build shippers while ensuring price tags and promotions are accurate. Resolve service order adjustments for shortages or mis-ships and perform routine maintenance such as cleaning shelves and fronting departments. Call on assigned stores to solicit orders across product categories and present deals to drive sales. Maintain back stock to a minimum and organize the store environment. Requires commission-only pay, weekly compensation, and travel to multiple locations.
Required Qualifications
- Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers
- Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations and respond promptly to customer needs
- Willingness to solicit customer feedback to improve service
- Communication skills, including speaking clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations
- The capability to read and interpret written information and comprehend simple instructions
- General Equivalency Diploma - General Studies
- High School Diploma - General Studies
- Shift 1st Shift (United States of America)
