Job Summary
Build customer confidence, provide accurate product information, and close sales by establishing personalized rapport. Greet and acknowledge customers, qualify their needs, and complete transactions efficiently while adhering to company policies. Maintain the selling floor and stock area, straighten merchandise, replenish inventory, and track daily or weekly sales figures. Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and that advertised merchandise is well-stocked. Operate the POS register and computer systems to process sales. Work varied days and hours, including evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Prior retail and/or customer service experience
- Self-motivated
- Ability and desire to work well with the public, management and coworkers
- Possess basic math skills
- Ability to learn selling skills and to operate a POS register, computer, and telxon
- Available to work varied days and hours as work schedule requires, including evenings and weekends
Desired Qualifications
- Previous sales experience preferred
