Job Summary
Greet and acknowledge customers, qualify their needs, and close sales while maintaining professional rapport. Provide superior customer service by completing requests timely and accurately processing all transactions and paperwork. Maintain the selling floor and stock area, tracking daily/weekly sales, straightening merchandise, and replenishing inventory. Stay aware of advertised products and adhere to all company policies and procedures. This role includes a draw against commission and requires availability for varied days and hours, including evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Prior retail and/or customer service experience
- Self-motivated
- Ability to portray a professional image
- Communication; verbal, written and by telephone with customers, coworkers and management
- Ability and desire to work well with the public, management and coworkers
- Possess basic math skills
- Ability to learn selling skills and to operate a POS register, computer, and telxon
- Available to work varied days and hours as work schedule requires, including evenings and weekends
Desired Qualifications
- Previous sales experience preferred
