Job Summary
Bloomingdale’s Commission Sales Associate (Full Time) focuses on guiding and inspiring customers to make fashion a source of creative energy. Responsibilities include delivering exceptional in-store and online customer experiences through engaging conversations, building long-term client relationships, promoting loyalty programs, supporting merchandising and operational requirements, leveraging fulfillment systems, and maintaining floor and fitting room upkeep. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work a flexible retail schedule, and comfort with technology and cash handling.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work across functional lines
- Ability to think creatively and strategically to satisfy customer needs
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
- Prolonged periods of standing/walking around store or department
- Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash register
- Ability to lift/move up to 25lbs frequently
