Job Summary
Assist in providing commissary operations and services at assigned locations by pulling and delivering orders to inmates at specified correctional facilities in a timely and efficient manner. Work on your feet throughout the shift duration while lifting up to 50lbs, maintaining a clean workspace and executing cross-training across distribution departments. Specialize in specific areas as needed, with opportunities to develop teams and build careers within a fully operational correctional facility servicing multiple business lines.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be a self-starter who can work well with people in a correctional facility in a professional, upbeat manner
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Must be able to work on your feet throughout the duration of a shift
- Must have great customer service skills
Desired Qualifications
- Inventory handling experience
- Retail, grocery or warehouse experience
- Familiarity with computers (including Microsoft Office programs)
- one to three months related experience and/or training
