Job Summary
Deliver product to canteens at specified correctional facilities with officer supervision while maintaining American Correctional Association and American Jail Association standards. Assist onsite managers with monthly canteen inventories and ensure all areas, equipment, and products remain neat, clean, and orderly. Attend orientation, annual security classes, and required certifications to stay current with facility policies. This role operates within a correctional environment, requiring current White River Correctional Center officer status and the ability to work professionally around inmates. Weekly pay is issued every Thursday, with opportunities for regular raises based on performance.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a current officer at the White River Correctional Center
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be a self-starter who can work well with people in a correctional facility in a professional, upbeat manner
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with computers (including Microsoft Office programs) preferred
