Job Summary
Deliver commissary goods to detainees, satisfactorily perform duties alone on housing units or floors, and competently operate Commissary equipment including software and ordering systems. Transport goods from the receiving dock to assigned locations or shelf storage facilities, assist with weekly inventory counts, and maintain a clean storage area using proper trash containers. Handle situations requiring prompt attention, immediately report issues, and retain detailed instructions. Requires a valid driver's license, federal background check clearance, and two years of full-time wage-earning experience. Pay is $20.71 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited senior high school or equivalent or GED
- Must have a valid driver's license
- All applicants must clear a federal background check, e-QIP (where applicable), before offers are final
- No Criminal Record – No Arrests
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Two (2) years full-time, wage-earning experience
Desired Qualifications
- Preferably with a commissary, retail sales, or inventory management background
- (1) year full-time, wage-earning correctional custody or law enforcement experience preferred
