Job Summary
Produce handmade, plant-based bath and body care products using various recipes and ingredients while adhering to strict material handling procedures. Operate equipment efficiently, manage raw material and finished product stock, and complete periodic inventory audits. Collaborate with the team and vendors to resolve production needs, ensure brand standards, and perform quality control during and before shipping. Track production performance, shipments, and timelines to meet deadlines. Maintain general cleaning and commissary standards. Work five days per week in a schedule of approximately 30 to 45 hours depending on production volume.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must not be sensitive to various scents and fragrances
- Dexterity of hands and fingers
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to walk, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, twist and stoop, kneel or crouch
- Ability to work independently and alone during shifts as business needs require
- Warm, friendly attitude, and ability to demonstrate personal composure during times of uncertainty and change
- Responsible and proven ability to maintain scheduling commitments
- Ability to adapt and utilize resources in a fun and fast-paced environment
- A passion for learning our products, brand, and professional development
- Must be able to communicate to management in a professional, concise manner
- Ability to use good judgement in a self-driven environment
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work well under pressure
- Candidate should expect to work five days per week, and approximately a 30-to-45-hour work schedule depending on production needs and hourly or salary status
