Job Summary
Prepare ingredients for cooking, portion and store ingredients, wash/peel produce, weigh and measure components, and cook according to recipes and quality standards. Handle cold foods, operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers; test foods for doneness and monitor quality. Set up and break down stations, serve portions, and maintain cleanliness and safety of the kitchen. Follow safety policies and report maintenance or safety concerns; maintain professional communication and positive relationships with team members; stand for extended periods and be able to lift up to 25 pounds. Education: high school diploma or GED; experience preferred (minimum 1 year). Marriott International is an equal opportunity employer.
