Job Summary
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food; wash and peel fruits/vegetables; weigh, measure, and mix ingredients; prepare and cook food according to recipes and standards; operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers; test foods for doneness and monitor quality; set up and break down the work station; serve food in proper portions; maintain cleanliness and safety of kitchen and equipment; follow safety policies and report issues; maintain professional communication and positive teamwork; stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds; perform other reasonable duties as requested by Supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience
- License or Certification: None
