Job Summary
Prepare ingredients for cooking, portion and weigh ingredients, wash and peel produce, and follow recipes and checklists to ensure quality and presentation. Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers; cook and test foods for doneness; monitor temperature and food quality; set up and break down stations; serve portions; maintain a clean, professional kitchen and adhere to safety policies. Maintain uniforms and confidentiality, communicate clearly, build positive team relationships, and perform other duties as assigned by Supervisors. Requires ability to stand for long periods, bend/stretch, and lift up to 25 pounds. Education: high school diploma or GED; related work experience of at least 1 year; no supervisory experience required. Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia (Marriott International).
