Prepare proper plate and platter presentations for banquets and operate action stations for buffet service. Carve meats, operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers, and prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, and storing food. Cook items according to recipes and quality standards, test foods for proper doneness, and serve portions onto receptacles. Wash and disinfect kitchen areas, tools, knives, and equipment while maintaining stock levels. Follow safety policies, complete training, and report maintenance needs or injuries. Work extended periods standing or lifting up to 50 pounds. Requires high school diploma and at least two years of related work experience.
