Job Summary
Commis I role focused on early-stage culinary support in a Sheraton hotel. Responsibilities include preparing special meals and aiding in daily kitchen operations: regulate ovens and cooking equipment, thaw frozen items, ensure proper portioning and presentation, maintain food logs, monitor quality, inform chefs of menu items and stock, and assist with training and motivating staff. The position emphasizes teamwork, safety compliance, professional communication, adherence to recipe and quality standards, and readiness to perform other reasonable kitchen duties as requested. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds; maintain professional appearance and protect company assets.
