Job Summary
Prepare meals and substitute items, regulate oven temperatures, thaw frozen items, portion and garnish dishes, and maintain food quality and logs. Communicate needs during busy periods and inform staff of specials and stock. Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating and coaching employees; adhere to safety policies, protect assets, and maintain professional appearance. Expect to stand for extended periods, move objects up to 25 pounds, and perform other reasonable duties as requested by Supervisors. This role emphasizes pastry preparation, kitchen teamwork, adherence to quality standards, and effective communication with the Chef and service staff.
