Job Summary
Assist the Executive Pastry Chef in planning supply and menu development for the Pastry department; influence skills, attitude, communication and team spirit of the kitchen team. Ensure effective inter-kitchen communication, training and development of all pastry-related food production, and the use of provided materials. Drive adherence to action points from daily briefings and weekly operational meetings; maintain positive working relations with other Food & Beverage departments. Relate guest comments to the Executive Pastry Chef and assist with overall pastry food cost, kitchen supplies, energy costs and utensils. Strive to reduce energy consumption through awareness campaigns within all kitchens.
