Job Summary
Commis de cuisine for a Relais & Châteaux restaurant in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc. Responsibilities include pre-service mise en place, preparing garnishes, sauces froides, potages, entrées and desserts; assisting the chef de partie/cook during service; post-service clearance and hygienic preservation of food per HACCP; maintaining cleanliness and order in the kitchen; receiving and checking goods per instructions; ensuring safety and organization. Ideally from a hotel/culinary training with significant experience in a similar establishment; strong presentation, teamwork, and organizational skills. Contract is 39 hours/week with housing near Chamonix and one meal per day.
