Job Summary
Commis Chef role: prepares garnishes, produces meals, chops, and completes mise en place of all food products under the supervision of a junior chef de partie or chef de partie. Responsible for ensuring mise en place is completed, applying proper cooking methods, maintaining an efficient, clean, and hygienic workplace, washing and cleaning all equipment, keeping refrigerators clean and tidy, preparing menu items to a high standard, assisting with staff meals, and preventing the canteen from running out of food.
Required Qualifications
- Matric
- 2–3 Years experience in Food Industry
- Must be able to work under pressure
- General Knowledge of Food Products
