Job Summary
Assist with the preparation and presentation of dishes across all kitchen sections while maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. Work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient service and support less experienced members when required. Take initiative to develop culinary skills and grow within the professional kitchen environment. This role involves rotating shifts across Monday to Sunday, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner services, with overtime and penalty rates available. Staff meals, uniforms, and free onsite parking are provided. Required Qualifications
- Relevant Certificate III in Cookery
- previous experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of Modern Australian Cuisine
- Understanding of HACCP and Workplace Health and Safety (OH&S) requirements
- Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic team environment
- Flexibility to work across a range of shifts, including weekends
- Ability to coach and motivate less experienced kitchen team members
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- working rights within Australia or New Zealand
