Job Summary
Commis Chef responsible for assisting in all kitchen operations under the Head/Sous Chef. Responsibilities include assisting in preparation and presentation of food according to menu specifications, basic food preparation (chopping, peeling, portioning), maintaining cleanliness and organization of kitchen/workstations, following food safety and hygiene regulations, receiving/storage/rotating stock, setting up and closing kitchen operations, and collaborating with team to ensure smooth service. Required to follow instructions, demonstrate initiative, communicate effectively, and contribute to high standards of food safety and guest satisfaction. A relevant culinary qualification or study toward one is beneficial.
