Job Summary
Maintain and clean all work areas, kitchen equipment, and utensils to high hygiene standards while assisting with food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation. Coordinate with colleagues on operational problems and ensure correct operation of all kitchen equipment for maximum efficiency and safety. Prepare various bread and pastry items, follow standard recipes for every menu item, and participate in regular meetings, briefings, and training programs to improve departmental standards. Monitor and order stocks and supplies, implement food safety and hygiene regulations including HACCP, and respond to changes in the food and beverage function. Maintain minimum one year of five-star hotel experience, a hospitality background, and a diploma or equivalent qualification.
