Commis 1 - Garde Manger

Prepare special meals, regulate oven temperatures, and pull items from freezer storage to thaw. Ensure proper portioning, garnish, and adherence to recipes, quality standards, and food preparation checklists. Monitor food quality and quantity, communicate assistance needs during busy periods, and inform the Chef of excess items or out-of-stock menu items. Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching employees while maintaining safety certifications and reporting maintenance needs. This Commis 1 role requires at least 3 years of related work experience and a Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree. Candidates must stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and lift objects up to 25 pounds.
