Job Summary
Prepare and cook Dim Sum and other menu items following recipes, quality standards, and the food preparation checklist. Regulate temperatures on ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters; thaw frozen items; ensure proper portions, presentation, garnishes, and maintain food logs. Inform Chef of excess items for daily specials and communicate with Food & Beverage staff about specials and stock. Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating staff; uphold safety policies and protect company assets. Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality, and guest service excellence; anticipate and address guests’ needs; work with team to achieve goals; stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds. Ability to follow safety training and certifications and perform other reasonable duties as assigned by Supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree
- Related Work Experience: At least 3 years of related work experience
- No supervisory experience
- License or Certification: None
