Job Summary
Lead and supervise a team of plumbers on commercial job sites, ensuring all work complies with Florida plumbing codes. Perform hands-on plumbing work while overseeing daily project operations, reading blueprints and schematics to execute tasks. Serve as the primary point of contact for field members, providing leadership, training, and resolving on-site issues quickly. Collaborate with project managers and estimators to ensure projects finish on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement while recruiting and developing a strong workforce. Includes take-home vehicle, phone, tablet, and competitive pay.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Plumbing Foreman or similar leadership role in commercial plumbing
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- In-depth knowledge of Florida commercial plumbing codes, systems, and materials
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs and carry heavy tools and materials
- Ability to work in confined spaces, on ladders, and at elevated heights
- Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, and bend for extended periods
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes
- Proficiency working with PVC, CPVC, copper (sweat and ProPress), and cast iron piping systems
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA certification or other safety training preferred
