Commercialization Engineer

Job Summary
Assess and coordinate technical requests from ESA Commercialisation partners regarding patents and contracts. Build intelligence reports on innovation trends by tracking market developments, emerging technologies, and patent filings. Interact with industry stakeholders to analyze competitive landscapes and develop strategic plans for future funding opportunities. Support Country Management in implementing contracts by assessing proposals, coordinating activities, and following up with commercialisation partners. Identify cooperation opportunities with start-ups and scale-ups while developing the ESA Commercialisation network.
Required Qualifications
- Master in Science, Engineering in a space relevant technical field
- Ideally more than 4 years of relevant experience
- Fluency in English
- Track record in technology or business consulting or project management experience
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in business administration or technology assessment
- Familiarity with the services provided by ESA
- Understanding the needs and expectations of the Commercialisation Department and the mission of the European Space Agency
- knowledge of another European language
