Job Summary
Transport and set-in-place Commercial Water Heaters weighing up to 950 lbs, conducting residential and business deliveries using the Commercial Water Heater truck and operating the lift gate and pipe rack in accordance with training. Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests, and perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections while fueling the truck and reporting issues to the supervisor. Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment, as well as receiving, verifying, staging, and stocking incoming material. Work Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4 PM with after-hours on-call availability.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card in order to meet driver requirements
- Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Must be able to lift 90+ pound objects frequently and 50+ pound objects occasionally
- Must be able to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs
- Must follow all DOT standards and regulations
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in installation and service within our industry is preferred
- A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving and delivery is a plus
- Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach
- Ability to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads
