Job Summary
Perform a variety of mechanical services on heavy-duty vehicles, including oil changes, tire alignments, brake and shock replacements, and troubleshooting customer needs. Maintain and replace tires as needed, care for tools and equipment, and inspect vehicles for additional maintenance issues. Keep the work area clean and organized to ensure a safe and efficient environment while completing additional tasks as assigned by the manager. Requires diesel mechanical knowledge, ability to use hand tools and alignment machines, and physical capability to lift 100 pounds and stand for long periods.
Required Qualifications
- Diesel mechanical knowledge/experience
- Ability to use basic hand tools
- Ability to use tire tools
- Ability to use alignment machines
- Ability to use air wrench
- Ability to use other essential tools
- Ability to lift, push, carry, and/or move a maximum of 100 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to bend, stretch, lift, push, pull and reach without difficulty
- Ability to kneel
- Ability to bend over the back
