Job Summary
Conduct credit evaluations by analyzing loan requests, borrower information, financial statements, collateral, and tax returns to determine ability to pay. Perform site visits and member interviews for new loans and annual reviews, while assisting underwriters in preparing credit memorandums and credit reviews. Cultivate and retain business member accounts through effective customer service and support loan officers in the credit review and approval process. Maintain member and sensitive information with confidentiality and represent the Credit Union professionally in community activities and events.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of commercial loan analysis experience with a financial institution
- Experience with commercial lending analysis software
- Working knowledge and proficiency with commercial lending analysis software
- Good understanding of NCUA regulations in Business Services
- Proficient with PC and Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Good organization and member service skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Decisive decision-making skills
- Two-year college degree or equivalent related specialized course of study or program or work equivalent
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and must not require employer sponsorship now or in the future
