Commercial Underwriter

Identify and underwrite new business, process renewals and endorsements, and analyze market trends, risk profitability, exposures, and hazards. Build strong relationships with brokers, maintain high levels of service, and actively promote the ICPEI brand by participating in production trips, broker visits, and corporate functions as required. Adhere to company guidelines, contracts, authority limits, and standards while contributing to the development of the Commercial team. This role supports the growing broker line of business within ICPEI, a subsidiary of the Desjardins Group offering market-leading insurance solutions across Canada.
