Job Summary

Diagnose and repair engine, driveline, steering, and air brake systems on commercial trucks and trailers. Perform general maintenance, DOT inspections, oil and lube services, and body repairs on trailers. Read tickets to execute assigned work, write confirmations, and conduct service calls at customer job sites. Work in uncontrolled environments with frequent lifting, squatting, and sustained vibrations while wearing required PPE. Requires 1–3 years of heavy-duty technician experience, ASE T-series certifications, and a valid driver's license (CDL Class A preferred).

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years working as a diesel or heavy trailer technician
  • Clean and Valid driver's license
  • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (Safety Glasses, gloves, safety harnesses, steel reinforced footwear)
  • Vision (Near, distance, Color, Peripheral, Depth Perception)
  • Sense of sound (Alarms, horns and motorized equipment)
  • Ability to lift over 50 pounds from ground to chest high
  • Frequent squatting, bending, and twisting
  • Repetitive motion tolerance
  • Sustained vibrations tolerance
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to work in an environment that is not climate controlled
  • Ability to read ticket and perform work listed
  • Ability to write confirmation and recommendation
  • Ability to work outdoors or on customer's job site
  • Ability to do service calls

Desired Qualifications

  • Fabrication and welding experience
  • DOT air brake certification
  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A)
