Job Summary
On-site Local Class B truck driver responsible for driving, loading, unloading, and securing aerospace/defense materials within a Raytheon/RTX site network (El Segundo and nearby locations). Responsibilities include using dollies and material-handling equipment, coordinating with expeditors and management, and incidental delivery tasks to meet schedules. Must hold a valid Class B license with air brake endorsement, have high school diploma or GED, and be able to obtain a DoD security clearance (U.S. citizenship required). Proficiency with scanners, DOT rules (DVIR, HOS, DQ records), basic MS Office (Excel), load securing with chains/straps/bars, and knowledge of forklift/equipment operation is preferred. The role is onsite with potential routes across multiple California locations; start shift estimated in the morning window.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Class B Combo driver’s license
- Air Brake Endorsement
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret clearance
- U.S. citizenship required for clearance eligibility
