Job Summary
Perform installation, service, and troubleshooting of commercial HVAC systems including rooftop units, chillers, split systems, and controls. Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and within safety standards. Supervise and train technicians while maintaining accurate service records, reports, and work orders. Ensure compliance with state and local building codes, environmental regulations, and company policies. Collaborate with project managers and contractors to deliver high-quality installations on time and within budget. Maintain a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for field work. Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm with availability for emergency needs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Minimum 4 years of experience in commercial HVAC installation, service, and maintenance
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications
- Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and driving record in compliance with Company policy
- Must have reliable transportation and tools
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs. regularly
- Must be able to stand, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces or high places for extended periods
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Able to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Must have manual dexterity and good vision (corrected or uncorrected) to handle detailed technical tasks
- Capable of moving and setting up heavy equipment occasionally with assistance
- Must be available for emergency needs
