Job Summary
Tire Technician responsible for installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing tires at commercial customer locations and on-roadside sites, handling after-hours emergency roadside service for commercial fleets, completing service documentation and work orders, delivering fleet maintenance checks at assigned locations, and maintaining vehicle/equipment safety and cleanliness. Role includes inventory control, professional interaction with commercial customers, assisting Passenger Light Truck Tire Technicians, lifting 80-100 lbs, and working 45 hours per week with on-call nights and weekends; benefits and training opportunities provided by ScotiaTire.
Required Qualifications
- High School or Equivalent
- 2 years Tire Technician experience
- Valid G License and a clean Drivers Abstract
- TIA Certificate, or willing to be certified
- Commercial Wheel Installer Certificate preferred
- Basic mechanical aptitude and exposure to commercial fleet vehicles
- Excellent Interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
