Job Summary
Commercial Tire Salesperson at Pomp’s Tire Service drives sales by building and nurturing relationships with existing customers and identifying new clients. Sell tires through phone, email, and social media; develop in-depth product knowledge to guide customers in selecting tires; engage with a diverse range of sales leads; and perform additional tasks to support sales operations. Occasional overnight travel may be required. Strong communication skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently are essential; prior tire industry sales experience is strongly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass pre-employment driver’s file
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Sale experience in the tire industry is strongly preferred
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 25 pounds regularly, and up to 50 pounds occasionally
