Commercial Technician

Job Summary
Conduct thorough inspections of commercial properties to identify pest infestations, damage, and entry points. Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, to eliminate pests while adhering to safety standards and regulations. Educate customers on prevention methods and maintain relationships to schedule appointments and expand product offerings. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and stocked. Drive and safely operate a company-provided service vehicle, navigating tight confined spaces and working around mechanical parts, electrical current, and chemicals. Wear personal protective equipment including OSHA-compliant respirators. Work both inside and outside in local climates using company-provided gear. Requires a valid driver's license, high school diploma, and ability to work Monday through Saturday.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license from state of residence
- Available to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed
- Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to present information in both internal and external settings
- Basic math skills — add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to follow instructions for mixing on product labels
- Clean shaven face
- Ability to work both inside and outside in local climate
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), like an OSHA-compliant respirator
- Ability to work in tight, confined spaces such as basements, attics, crawl spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways
- Ability to work around animals, insects and termites
- Ability to work around mechanical parts, vehicles, electrical current, heights and scaffolding
- Ability to handle fumes, dust, and chemicals safely
- Ability to regularly sit, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
- Ability to climb up and down stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles
- Ability to drive and safely operate a company provided service vehicle
