Job Summary
Part-time Commercial Surveyor to support the Head of Engineering by carrying out site surveys across heat network assets, assessing plant rooms, HIUs, and metering setups, and producing clear survey reports within SLA timeframes. Responsibilities include identifying defects and compliance issues, capturing survey data and asset information, supporting asset registers and data quality, assisting with technical assessments and feasibility reviews, contributing to maintenance planning and root-cause analysis, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Strong reporting, communication, and organization skills are required, with the role involving a combination of site work and remote report writing.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in surveying, engineering, or maintenance role (ideally heat networks or building services)
- Strong understanding of heat network systems
- Ability to produce high-quality technical reports with attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills with ability to meet SLA deadlines
- Competent in Microsoft Office
