Job Summary
Commercial Surety Sr. Account Executive provides technical support to Client Executives and clients in maintaining Commercial Surety Accounts. Processes paperwork for new and renewal business (expirations lists, applications, riders, consents, indemnity agreements), prepares and executes commercial surety bonds, handles invoices and bondability letters, performs account and premium reconciliation, coordinates underwriting with surety companies and clients, assists in obtaining bond approvals, maintains client files, and supports producers in developing new surety business while delivering high-quality client service. Requires experience with surety bond terminology, ability to work independently and in a team, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office; licensing as an Insurance Solicitors is required.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 – 7 years industry experience showing increasing responsibility directly related to the performance of the above duties
- Possess and maintain a valid Insurance Solicitors License
- Proficiency with MS Office software (i.e., Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possess advanced analytical, planning, organizational, and prioritization skills
- Provide good customer service, including telephone and listening skills
- Good ability and motivation to work independently, and also within a team environment
- Understanding of surety bond terminology and underwriting processes
