Job Summary
Commercial Specialist at Advance Auto Parts: Support CPP-led commercial sales, dispatch and coordination of commercial deliveries from order creation to dispatched delivery, manage store vehicle fleet maintenance and safety checks, conduct account stocking visits and Pro Sales flyer drops, perform outbound calls and customer deliveries, lead organization around the parts department/backroom and delivery areas, maintain knowledge of product inventory and assist with upselling/cross-selling to increase transaction value, lead the commercial program when CPP is not present (e.g., weekends), engage with walk-in customers to recommend parts or services, assist CPPs/GMs with tasks and special projects, onboard and shadow new team members, and utilize inventory/POS/parts lookup systems; requires ability to multi-task in a busy environment, strong communication, and willingness to work varied days/evenings/weekends; ASE certification optional; English required with Spanish a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record (MVR)
- ASE certification preferred but not required
- Ability to read and interpret documents; basic math; proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel; strong organizational skills
