Job Summary
Commercial Specialist responsible for supporting CPP-led commercial sales, dispatching and coordination of commercial deliveries from order creation to dispatched for delivery; lead the parts department/backroom areas including vehicle fleet maintenance, safety checks, stock knowledge, and upselling/cross-selling to increase transaction value. Drive outbound calls, follow-ups, and account touchpoints; conduct account stocking visits and Pro Sales flyer drops; perform customer deliveries following driver procedures and maintain customer relationships. Lead the organization around parts, backroom, staging, and delivery areas; stay knowledgeable about product inventory and new arrivals to assist sales. Lead the commercial program when CPP is not present (weekends as business and customer demands require). Engage with walk-in customers, support onboarding and shadowing of new team members, and contribute to inventory management and special projects. Required safety knowledge, ability to route store drivers, MVR certification, and proficiency with inventory and POS/parts lookup systems. Must be able to work varied days/evenings/weekends; communicate in English (Spanish a plus); understand and execute written or diagram instructions; read safety rules and manuals; basic math and Excel skills; physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- ASE certification preferred, but not required
- Must have a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- MVR certification
- Able to read and interpret safety rules and manuals
- Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong selling skills for commercial customers
- Ability to multi-task in busy environment
- Basic inventory management skills
- Language: English; Spanish a plus
