Job Summary
Lead and support CPP-led commercial sales activities by dispatching and coordinating commercial deliveries from order creation to dispatch, while managing store vehicle fleet maintenance and safety checks. Perform account stocking visits and Pro Sales flyer drops, conduct outbound calls and customer touches, and handle customer deliveries following standard driver procedures. Lead the organization and maintenance around the parts department, backroom, staging, and delivery areas; maintain knowledge of inventory and new arrivals to assist sales; upsell and cross-sell to increase transaction value. If CPP is not present, lead the commercial program (weekends as business and customer demands require). Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts or services; assist CPPs and GMs with special projects and inventory tasks; support onboarding and shadowing of new team members. Desired strengths include friendly communication, strong product and automotive system knowledge, proficiency with inventory and POS systems, and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- MVR certification
- ASE certification preferred, but not required
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- Experience in automotive parts or dispatching preferred
- Strong communication and selling skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a busy environment
- Ability to route store drivers
- Knowledge of inventory systems and store equipment
- Understanding of vehicle maintenance schedules
- Ability to read and understand basic documents and procedures
