Job Summary
Commercial Specialist to support CPP-led commercial sales and dispatch coordination from order creation to delivery. Responsibilities include overseeing store vehicle fleet maintenance and safety checks, conducting account stocking visits and Pro Sales flyer drops, performing outbound calls and customer touchpoints, and delivering customer service through sales and relationship building. Lead the organization and maintenance around the parts department/backroom, stay knowledgeable about product inventory and new arrivals, and assist in upselling and cross-selling to increase transaction value. When CPP is not present, lead the commercial program (e.g., covering weekends). Required skills include strong communication, inventory and parts knowledge, basic dispatching and vehicle maintenance understanding, proficiency with POS and Microsoft Office, and ability to read and interpret safety and repair manuals. ASE certification is preferred but not required. Ability to work various shifts including evenings and weekends, and to route store drivers; MVR certification and valid driver\'s license are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver\'s license with acceptable driving record
- MVR certification
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals; ability to write simple correspondence
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Basic inventory management skills
- Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Experience in automotive parts or dispatching preferred
