Job Summary
Commercial Specialist needed to support CPP-led commercial sales and coordinate end-to-end commercial deliveries from order creation to dispatched. Responsibilities include dispatching coordination, managing store vehicle fleet maintenance and safety checks, conducting account stocking visits and Pro Sales flyer drops, performing outbound calls and customer touchpoints, delivering to customers per driver procedures, and leading organization and maintenance in the parts department backroom, staging, and delivery areas. Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales, assist in upselling and cross-selling to increase transaction value, and lead the commercial program when CPP is not present (e.g., weekends as demand requires). Additional duties include engaging with walk-in customers to assess needs and recommend parts or services, assisting CPPs and GMs with tasks and special projects (including inventory management), and supporting onboarding/shadowing of new team members. Essential skills include friendly communication, ability to locate and stock parts, safety knowledge, operating inventory systems and store equipment, strong selling skills for commercial customers, multitasking and organization in a busy environment, routing store drivers, maintaining MVR certification, and working knowledge of automotive systems. Proficiency with on-site POS and parts lookup systems; basic math; strong organizational skills; willingness to learn about new products and sales techniques; able to work varied days, evenings, and weekends; English required (Spanish a plus). ASE certification is preferred but not required, and a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record is required.

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

- MVR certification
- Strong working knowledge of inventory systems and store equipment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers, and management
- Willingness to learn about new products and sales techniques
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a busy environment
- Ability to route store drivers
- Safety knowledge and skills
- Access to and understanding of automotive system knowledge (engine, suspension, brakes, etc.)
- Ability to perform basic math in all units of measure
- English language proficiency; Spanish a plus
